On March 26, 2026, the auction for the sale of motor vehicles announced by the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Kingdom of Sweden did not take place due to a lack of bidders.

Therefore, the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Kingdom of Sweden announces that a descending-bid auction will be held on March 30, 2026.

1. Vehicles will be sold in their present “as is” condition. Bidders must carefully read this announcement and inspect the vehicles’ condition before submitting their bids. By inspecting a vehicle and submitting a bid, bidders are deemed to have read and agreed to the terms and conditions set out in this announcement and may not request any improvements, adjustments, or repairs to the vehicles.
2. The auction is conducted as a descending-bid auction. The bidder offering the highest price at the conclusion of the bidding process will have the right to purchase the vehicle and is required to make either a full payment or a non-refundable deposit of 15% of the bid price on the day the bidding results are announced at the Embassy of Kazakhstan. The winning bidder must pay the full remaining amount within 30 days from the date of the announcement of the bidding results. The vehicle must be collected from the Embassy of Kazakhstan within 30 days after full payment has been made.
3. All fees related to the transfer of registration or ownership, as well as any applicable taxes and other related expenses, shall be borne by the winning bidder.
4. If the winning bidder fails to complete payment within the specified period, the bidder shall be deemed to have waived the right to purchase the vehicle and shall forfeit any payments made, including, but not limited to, the deposit.
5. Bid rigging and any other form of improper interference are strictly prohibited.
6. Members of the Auction Committee of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Stockholm are not permitted to submit bids or engage others to bid on their behalf.

Interested buyers are welcome to inspect the vehicles at the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Stockholm on weekdays from 27 to 29 March 2026 by appointment only. Requests for inspection appointments and all inquiries may be sent to the Embassy of Kazakhstan at stockholm.kz@gmail.com.
