In order to support entrepreneurs and improve the quality of accounting and tax accounting, the Ministry of Finance, together with Professional Organizations of Accountants (POB) The National Accountant campaign has been launched since January 5, 2026. The promotion will last until June 30, 2026.
The main format is an offline reception based on the state revenue departments of regional centers and the cities of Astana, Almaty, Shymkent.
From March 2026, consultations will be held twice a week (Tuesday, Thursday) from 10:00 to 13:00. The reception places are marked with signs “People’s Accountant”, indicating the work schedule and address.

As part of the campaign in January-February 2026, consultations were provided to more than 38 thousand taxpayers, and 879 open days were held.
The main issues related to the choice of the optimal tax regime and the transition period, tax benefits and deductions, issuing electronic invoices, the VAT threshold, setting and de-registering VAT at the National Tax Service and ESD, permitted types of activities for the self-employed, and much more.
